Bar Lead & Lodge Assistant
We are looking for a passionate people person who enjoys evening time work, chatting with guests and making them feel at home.
The role is a split shift position with a high focus on Customer service. The evening shift (from approx. 4:30 / 5:00pm – 12:30am) will have you running our small Après bar based in the Lounge of our accommodation lodge and the daytime shift will be based around assisting in other areas of the lodge which may include cleaning, food preparation / serving and general customer meet & greet / check in etc. The Daytime shift hours can move between morning or afternoon depending on guest numbers and requirements so if you are organized there will be some time to hit the slopes during the day. When the Lodge is quiet there is the ability to make up hours helping in other areas of the operation according to your skill sets.
You must be a people person and enjoy hosting and preferably have some previous bar experience. The evening shift is a solo role (with assistance provided when busy or for breaks) and you may be the only staff member on duty whilst other staff have knocked off for the day.
Our drinks are all bottles or cans with wine available by the glass so no kegs or beer taps to worry about. You will have sole charge of the bar and will also be required to maintain stocklists and complete weekly stock orders.
No two days or evenings will be the same and the job is as much fun as you want to make it by adding your own personal flare!

CAFE LEAD
We have a full time position available during the season running our busy Daylodge Café.
The Café operates during the daytime operational hours (8:30am – 4:30pm) and sells coffee, alcohol, snacks and light pre-prepped food. Barista experience is a must and some bar work is preferable but we can provide further training in either if you have some existing skills in either of these areas.
You will be using a POS based sales systems to process sales and a limited amount of cash handling. You will be dealing directly with visitors / guests face to face and need to have a positive and personable attitude. A weekly stock take and ordering is also part of the role along with cleaning and looking after the Café and its adjoining kitchen area.

Ticket Office Lead
A key position within our operation is that of Ticket Office staff member. The Ticket Office is often referred to as the hub of the operation and is extremely busy at times handling customers, phone calls, emails and radio calls to the base area radio from other staff. Dealing directly with visitors / guests face to face, operating a POS based ticketing application along with answering all general enquires via phone, email and other social media is all in a day’s work.
We are looking for a level-headed person for the 2026 season who is Customer focused, well organised, friendly and must be a team player.

We have one position available for an enthusiastic and experienced Patroller who is a team player and not afraid to roll up their sleeves to join our small patrol team for the 2026 winter season.
You should have a minimum of 2 seasons in the industry and Pre-hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) qualification (or equivalent). Ideally you will also have completed an Avalanche Level 5 (or equivalent overseas qualification). Experience with Avalanche mitigation by use of explosives would also be a benefit although not essential as we can provide training and eventual pathway to New Zealand qualifications in this area.
The role includes (but not limited to) general day to day ski patrol tasks, setting up and running the 2 T Bar lifts, daily trail set up, management and risk assessment, medical care and assisting the Snow Safety Officer run the Snow Safety programme.

We are seeking the services of a qualified Snow Safety Officer & Forecaster for the 2026 winter season (July – September)
Applicants MUST have Avalanche Risk Management Level 6 (or equal overseas qualification) along with a minimum of 2 years or more working in the industry. Some experience in snow blasting is desirable and we can assist with obtaining local qualification to any successful overseas candidate.
The role encompasses both office based and in field work and is responsible for the day to day safety of guests both on the ski area and access road from an Avalanche perspective.
You will also be heavily involved in the daily management of Hazard Management and general field operations alongside the Mountain Manager.
Your role will also see you working alongside the patrol team and you will be required to carry out general patrol work which will include the daily start up and operation of lifts (in conjunction with other operations staff), attending to Medical incidents, marking hazards, ensuring signage and safety fences are in place and correct and any other general patrol work as required.
This is a key role within the small staff team and we are looking for team players to work alongside a diverse team.
