Welcome to the camaraderie and relaxed social vibe of Mt Cheeseman Ski Club, where we make hitting the slopes affordable. Commercial ski field day passes can put a strain on your budget, making it challenging to ski as often as you’d like. By joining Mt Cheeseman, you’ll unlock significantly discounted rates, allowing you to pack in more ski days without breaking the bank.

Through working together and contributing our time and skills, the club is able to keep skiing affordable. Every year, by doing two work parties over summer, you get a generous rebate off your sub. By contributing a bit of time and energy, you not only help maintain and improve our facilities but also forge lasting friendships and create fun, memorable experiences.
Some maintenance tasks depend on people-power (many hands make light work) and others such as electrical work and marketing may require some specialist knowledge. Let us know what skills you could contribute. Explore some work party photos to see what’s involved.
Look out for work party dates that will be advertised in the E-Chat and E-News and contact the organiser to register. Check details about start times, meeting place and what tools etc. to bring. Overnight accommodation is available free of charge for work parties. Everyone brings their own food. If staying overnight then the evening meal is usually communal. The typical meal is roast chicken pieces and vegetables. It’s a combined effort to prepare the evening meal and clean up.
Hey – why limit yourself to the minimum 2 days? You’ll get vouchers that can be used for accommodation or ski/board lessons for any additional completed work party days.
Work parties are one of the unique aspects of belonging to a Club. We all benefit from the team effort!
Q: Do kids have to do work parties?
A: No, just adults and students need to do work parties.
