Mt Cheeseman has two mountain accommodation options, each offering a different way to experience the Craigieburn Ranges.
Snowline Lodge sits on the ski field and is ideal for winter ski holidays, families, groups and exclusive alpine bookings. Forest Lodge is a self-catered lodge set amongst native bush, suited to year-round adventure stays and independent travellers.

Snowline Lodge is located right on the ski field, beside the Day Lodge and Cockayne Café. In winter it offers catered, ski-in, ski-out accommodation with easy access to the slopes, making it a popular option for families and multi-day ski holidays.
Guests can drive to within 15 metres of the lodge for drop off and pick up, then park a short walk away. From there, you can ski straight to the lodge door, relax in the communal dining and living area, enjoy hot showers and return to the mountain the next morning.
Snowline Lodge is a comfortable alpine base with expansive mountain views.
In summer, Snowline Lodge is available for exclusive group bookings. With parking close to the lodge and access to walking, biking and other alpine recreation, it is a practical base for groups wanting a unique mountain setting.

Forest Lodge is nestled amongst beech forest and native tussock land, 720 metres above sea level. It offers affordable, comfortable and character-filled self-catered backpacker-style accommodation, around 90 minutes from Christchurch.
