You ‘re hearing from me because Cam is taking a well deserved break somewhere in the South Pacific and Stu is down south in the mountains somewhere working toward gaining his Avalanche 2 qualification. We have a fantastic staff team on the hill this season so I’m thinking my task in their absence will be that much easier.
Holiday 2 week is well and truly settled in and judging from the noise generated by Tuesday’s quiz night they are certainly having a great time. Hutt Mum Andrew has the entertainment all sorted.
Despite having to close on Tuesday because of rain, (which turned to snow in the evening), our snow pack is holding up well. The upper mountain has retained good cover and there is superb spring skiing and A Basin is the track of the week. All the access tracks have held up well and the little top up of snow we got Tuesday night has helped.
As I write this weekend’s weather forecast is offering two bluebird days. Forest lodge is already fully booked on Saturday night but we still have some room for you at Snowline Lodge and this Saturday night is Retro Aerobics Night with our guest Zumba instructor Bella, come and join us.
Our access road is currently clear of snow but always have those chains handy in your vehicle just in case, weather conditions can change up here very quickly.
That’s all from me, come on up and see for yourself, the skiing’s fine!
