This week on the hill its Fine Wine Week and its great to catch up with all the familiar faces. There’s been plenty of skiing & riding during the day and then partying theme nights which have included so far – Twins night, Fortified Wine Tasting and Quizz night with plenty more to come.

Tuesday morning we awoke to 3cms of fresh snow and this morning there has been 5cms overnight with snow still coming in lightly at present. Looking ahead over the next few days there is more snow forecast so everyone is pretty stoked about that! Check-out the weekend forecast below and keep an eye on the daily website weather and snow reports for current conditions.

This coming weekend is Club Champs and next week we will be hosting the Secondary schools race day on Tuesday and Accountants vs Lawyers corporate day on Wednesday so its all systems go at present.

Wellington Ski Week kicks off next Sunday with a fully booked lodge and we are looking forward to welcoming Hillary and her team of friends and families back to Cheeseman during 2013 – hopefully there will be some fresh snow on offer!

Webcam Update

The new upper mountain webcam is getting ever closer and the team have now installed with mounting pole at Lunch Rock complete with solar panel mounts. We are currently awaiting the arrival of a final couple of technical parts and will hopefully be commissioning and testing it in a few days and then it will go live to the website – in the mean time we are taking regular shots from this location and posting them where the new live picture will eventually be.
