E-News 8th September 2011
More stunning days have been enjoyed by everyone over the past few days with the spring weather getting better and better. Spring also brings the Westerly weather system which whilst may be nice in town can be somewhat average in the mountains. The next few days are looking not as promising as the past few days but we will still be open given every opportunity so keep an eye on the daily Snow and weather reports on the website.
With the weekend weather looking a little windy and a chance of snow we have decided to postpone the ThermaTech Undie 500 until Saturday 17th September - please see below for further details. Hopefully the current weather system will have settled by the following weekend and we will be able to run this event in some sunny warm and clear conditions. More infomation next week on this exciting event.

ThermaTech Undie 500 - NOW SATURDAY 17th September
Following a few years hiatus the Mt Cheeseman Ski Area Undie 500 is back! With ThermaTech proudly ‘covering’ the event (pun intended!), this is Cheeseman’s friendly and fun atmosphere at its best!
Brave racers strip to their ‘undies’ for a mass start up on the slopes. Running to their skis or snowboard they must negotiate a giant slalom course and other creative challenges down to the day lodge and the finish line!
This awesome event is for everyone, but if you'd rather watch than take part, there are plenty of vantage points along the route or be part of the finish line party.

Take care until next week and see you on the slopes.
Regards
The Cheeseman Team
