Cheeseman E-News - Thursday 2nd September 2010
Snow Update
Spring is here and the snow continues! Over the past few days we have received 35cm's which is keeping the mountain looking crisp and the skiing and riding across the mountain has been awesome, especially on Cockayne with the opportunity of fresh tracks for some lucky people this week. Today we have woken up to another 15cm's of wind affected snow with periods of snow forecast to continue during the day.
With all the new snow this week its certainly looking as though September may be the month for good snow this year and this was a prediction the Moon Man made!
The days are really stretching out now and I noticed it was still light at 6:30pm last night. The lifts were running till just before 5pm yesterday so thats a big day on the slopes for those who start skiing when the slopes open at 9am! With only 4 weeks left until the end of the season nows your chance to come on up and enjoy the snow with us - don't forget our Spring deals (see below).
