Cheeseman 2012
New Zealand Small Ski Area Service Award Winner 2007, 2008 & 2010

E-News 27th July 2011

There's been plenty of snow for everyone over recent days and that goes for Christchurch residents too who awoke on Monday morning to a generous coating over much of the city which caused some disruption to roads and businesses. A few stories have emerged of small ski slopes opening on some hill side properties and of course those keen enough were even getting towed around by vehicles for a bit of fun!

The front that delivered Christchurch's Snow was mainly coastal and the mountain received only a few cm's - a nice wee top up all the same. There has been a mixed bag of weather this week and there's a chance of more snow over the next day or so.

Our ski weeks continue with Holiday 2 week drawing to a close. For many people a Cheeseman Ski week is something that is looked forward too for many months - kind of like a holiday that we all look forward too. So why not come and join us up on the mountain for a few days and sample mountain life where you can wake up, enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then hit the slopes all at your own pace. You too can enjoy the great skiing, boarding, fun and friendship of Cheeseman by joining us for a Winter Holiday – we have vacancies in late August weeks and also our September weeks – right on time for the Australian school holidays. Click here for more information on our Ski Package Holidays and contact us for more information and to book your stay. We look forward to seeing you at Cheeseman soon.

Holiday 2 Ski Week - More great Skiing and Boarding!

The temps have plummeted and the winds have been strong but the snow conditions remain superb at Cheeseman. Windblown powder has put smiles on the faces of Holiday 2 ski weekers and day visitors this week. We haven’t got any skiing photos because we’ve been too busy playing on the slopes, but we do have photos from our one closed day, when winds were high, and we held Cheeseman Olympics instead. Great fun had by all!

Below are some photos of this weeks Ski week activities
