Cheeseman E-News - 12th October
Well folks another season has flashed before our eyes and we have closed the ski area for 2010! The Cheeseman team would like to thank everyone who visited us or supported us during the season - We trust everyone had a enjoyable time a Cheeseman and we hope to see you back again in 2011 or even to enjoy our facilities during the summer period?
We wish everyone a safe a happy summer and please do stay in touch by keeping an eye on the website which will be updated during the summer with our various summer activities. Cheeseman Chat will continue to be published every month and we will carry on with monthly E-News updates also.
Summer Website
We are about to begin building a summer look website which will promote the summer activities at Cheeseman. The winter site and homepage will remain active & accessible in the background and will be switched back as the main homepage again in May. Keep an eye out for this as we hope to have it running before Christmas.
Cheeseman On CTV
This coming Saturday (16th) night at 8:00pm CTV are screening "Cheeseman The Making Of A Ski Club". Most of you will by now have seen this excellent DVD of the Clubs history but it might be fun to see it screened on TV.
Summer at Cheeseman
As mentioned in a recent E-News our Lodges are available for hire from now through until March / April. For example Forest Lodge is available to hire for a minimum cost of $400 / night (based on 13 adults @ $28 / night!). Our facilities are a perfect option for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, sports groups, etc. and with so many activities within the Craigieburn Basin we are well located to take full advantage of this stunning area. 2010 End Of Season Function
This Thursday (14th October) at The Twisted Hop, Poplar Lane, Between High St & Lichfield St from 6pm onwards
Join us at this great venue to celebrate the end of the 2010 season and touch base with everyone before we all head off on summer activities. Come for a chat, come for drinks, come for a meal.
Mt Cheeseman Ski Club AGM
A note for members that the AGM will be held on Monday 6th December at the Cashmere Club commencing at 7:30pm. This has been advertised in Cheeseman Chat and there will be reminders posted in Chat next month.
